EBI-VBT and EBI-TFS at the 4th MeCRE in Orléans

Researchers from EBI-VBT and EBI-TFS presented three scientific contributions at the 4th Conference on the Metal-enabled Cycle of Renewable Energy (MeCRE) in Orléans, France. The presentations covered the numerical investigation of nanoparticle formation during iron particle group combustion, the experimental characterization of particle temperature, laminar flame speed, and nanoparticle formation in iron dust flames, as well as time-resolved monitoring of iron oxide reduction with hydrogen in a fluidized-bed reactor using X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
